A non-judgemental and friendly space to explore the more difficult parts of life
As a therapist, I offer a space for you to talk about the things that can be tricky to think about alone, or share with loved ones.
We all go through difficult and sometimes traumatic experiences that impact how we think and feel. I work with clients to talk through these experiences in a safe and non-judgemental environment. Together, we can identify how your unique experiences influence how you think and feel about yourself, others and the world around you.
We will work to challenge and change behaviours and thoughts that you want to leave behind whilst learning how to cultivate more peace and joy in day to day living – something we all deserve more of!
“Don’t turn away. Keep your gaze on the bandaged place. That is where the light enters you.”
- Rumi
How I Work
I’m trained as an integrative therapist, which is a fancy way of saying that I can draw on different therapeutic theories and skills which you can find out about here.
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and prefer to collaborate with clients to offer individualised therapy.
Depending on your needs this could include; exploration of childhood, incorporating neuroscientific understanding, using written and somatic exercises or just getting back to basics and simply talking it out.
More important than all the theory and skills is that you can feel safe speaking with me. No matter what you are struggling with, I will offer a compassionate and non-judgemental space for us to explore it together at a pace that feels comfortable to you. Building a trusting and respectful client-therapist relationship is key to therapeutic work, as such I offer a free 20 minute consultation for us to get to know each other a little and see if I am a good fit for you or not!

If you don’t feel represented in the above, remember that categories don’t always suit our unique human experience. First and foremost I see you for the individual you are and I let you tell me your experience rather than defining you through pre-existing notions. Everybody is welcome in my therapy room, reach out if you would like to start a conversation.
